She had seen a gleam of interest in his eyes at her mention of Ostagar, a look she was quite used to getting by now. People who had been at that battle knew how it happened, from their perspective at least. Those who hadn't only knew the rumors. It was tiring, sometimes, but at least he hadn't asked any questions. This time.
She chuckled a bit at his offhanded comment. "Safe travels to you," she said. "And here's hoping there's no more trouble waiting when you get back to Kirkwall." She then focused her attention on the damage assessment, after sending Kenai back to the castle ahead of her. She kept Karina close, and began to put herself to work assisting with the first stages of cleanup.
