alright, we've got a member of the Inquisition, and here's the Inquisitor. Let's get some plots going, shall we?

First of all, I'm gonna take you up on that offer of Sévere teaching Cyrlan to fight again with the loss of his arm. I mean, he probably could have helped Cyrlan in training in general prior to that as well. From a Dalish First to a Knight Enchanter on the first lines is quite a big jump, so he's had to have additional training to adapt to a melee environment, to have people with actual swords and shields going against him, as opposed to his usual position at the back casting lone-range spells. I imagine him to be halfway decent with daggers or bows, being Dalish and all, but he's still got to work on swinging a sword as tall as himself around, magic and glowing or whatever. He probably could have gone to Cullen for advice, but neither does he want to stress his advisors out any more than necessary. So off he goes to find someone who can give him some tips and pointers and bam - he finds Sévere.

Perhaps that is enough to foster a friendship, and with Cyrlan being the lowkey workaholic he is I wouldn't be surprised to find him at the training area even when he's supposed to be taking a break or whatnot. Especially after having half his arm amputated, he probably pushes himself even harder and once more enlists Sévere's help in fighting with a new handicap. All this is bound to bring people closer together, and with the fact that it's scarcely a challenge to befriend Cyrlan, they're probably good pals? He's gonna be really curious about the fennec too, soft spot for animals. And mutual friendship through Ashyla maybe? Ah, who knows. Feel free to add/subtract any ideas <3
