It is 9:50 Dragon. Between the blight, the mage rebellion, and the hole in the sky, Thedas has been holding its breath and now it feels like it can let it go and breathe again. Things are settling and people are remembering what it feels like to be at peace, but anxiety still weighs down on the people of Thedas. This age has been so troubled and they worry that this isn't over yet. They worry that there is more to come.

Kirkwall's Alienage is the Alienage of the elves in Kirkwall. Every night the Kirkwall City Guard closes a great iron gate at the entrance to the Alienage. Yet, despite their poverty, the elves still take comfort in the fact that they are not as bad off as the residents of Darktown.
