It is 9:50 Dragon. Between the blight, the mage rebellion, and the hole in the sky, Thedas has been holding its breath and now it feels like it can let it go and breathe again. Things are settling and people are remembering what it feels like to be at peace, but anxiety still weighs down on the people of Thedas. This age has been so troubled and they worry that this isn't over yet. They worry that there is more to come.

The Hissing Wastes is a stretch of sandy desert north of the Western Approach, a lonely place where the wildlife is hungry and hostile. Among the hungriest and most hostile are the dragons that make their nests here. The rare person wandering into the wastes is either hunting prized beasts or hoping to uncover Kal Repartha, a lost dwarven thaig.
