The Grand Cathedral of Orlais, is the heart of the Andrastian Chantry, and the seat of its leader, the Divine.

The Summer Bazaar is a major marketplace in the Orlesian capital city of Val Royeaux. It is separated from the major city districts by the Miroir de la Mère, a giant reflecting pool constructed by Emperor Reville. The Summer Bazaar can only be accessed via the Avenue of Reflective Thought, an ornate thoroughfare dedicated with statues of Andrastian martyrs.

The White Spire can be seen from anywhere in Val Royeaux, even during the night. The white tower is lit by magic, seen by some as looking like a sword thrust into the sky.

The University of Orlais in Val Royeaux is one of the oldest universities in Thedas. It is a major center of learning that attracts young nobles from all over Thedas as it provides some of the best education one can buy. The university is a relatively modern institution, whose liberal-minded professors have clashed with religious conservatives over the content of their classes.

The Seekers of Truth acts as a check on the power of the Templar Order, acting in a secretive, investigative and interrogative capacity to root out corruption and protect the Chantry from internal and external threats. They also may become involved in the hunting of particularly cunning apostates.
